Which garden work qualifies for RUT?

For example lawn mowing, hedge trimming, pruning and felling trees, weeding and raking leaves. The work must be done on the plot where your home or holiday home is.

Is taking away grass and branches included?

Gathering the garden waste is included, but taking it away doesn't qualify. You pay full price for that part.

Do I get RUT for snow clearing?

Yes. Clearing the driveway, yard and house or garage roof qualifies, and so does removing icicles.

Does it cover the pavement outside the house?

Only if your municipality requires you as the property owner to keep the pavement clear of snow and ice.

We're a joint property association or housing co-op. Can we get RUT?

No. Work on shared areas of a joint property association doesn't qualify, and an association can't get RUT. The deduction is for private individuals and their own homes.

Are machines and planting included?

No. The cost of machines such as a tractor or cherry picker doesn't qualify, and neither does planting, laying a new lawn or paving.

Does it cost anything to book?

No. You pay the business the price shown, and nothing to Nollby Service. Some businesses ask for a deposit when you book; it is taken off the price.
