Does mending at a tailor or cobbler qualify for RUT?
No. Work done in a tailoring or shoe-repair workshop doesn't qualify for a tax deduction. The price you see is what you pay, including VAT.
Why book a time to drop off?
The workshop knows you're coming and has time for you, for example to pin up your trousers. And you know the price before you go.
How long until it's ready?
It varies by workshop and job. They'll tell you when you drop it off.
What does it cost to shorten a pair of trousers?
Each workshop sets its own price, and you see it before you book. Compare prices and first free times at the workshops here.
Can I get a price for a bigger job?
Yes. Choose “Request a quote”, describe what you want done and add photos if you can. The workshop replies with a price, and you decide whether to book.
What if I'm not happy?
Talk to the workshop first. Under the Consumer Services Act you're entitled to have a defect in the work put right. After your visit you can also leave a review.
Does it cost anything to book?
No. You pay the business the price shown, and nothing to Nollby Service. Some businesses ask for a deposit when you book; it is taken off the price.
How do I cancel or move a booking?
Use the link in your confirmation. Each business sets how late you can cancel free of charge, and it is shown before you book.
